Unusual way of painting a group of eland

This is an unusual way of depicting eland in southern African rock art. 11 red and white eland are clustered so that individual bodies have become one larger body. The eland all have their heads up, on the alert. Below is a small white antelope and to the right what looks like two hares. Free State Province, South Africa
